File Sharing

Origin allows you to create many worksheets, Excel workbooks, graphs, layout pages, and notes windows in a single project. With the benefit of Origin's Project Explorer you can create self-contained projects that have all of your work, laid out in a very organized manner. Therefore it is often straightforward useful to share Origin projects with colleagues.

Origin sets opened projects (OPJ files) as read-only when opened. Other users can open the files, but changes can not be saved to the original file. This allows multiple people to safely access the same project.
