Contour Graphs in Origin
Origin comes with several built-in contour graph types and
contour plots. To create Origin's contour plots or graphs,
one click access is provided via the 3D Graphs toolbar (see
below).
Listed at right is each of the built-in contour plot types
Origin offers. If a link appears to the right of a button,
click on it (or the plot type button) to learn more about
the graph.

| Note:
A matrix must be selected in order to access the contour
plot buttons on the 3D Graphs toolbar. The grayed-out
buttons on the toolbar are for the 3D XYY and 3D XYZ plot
types. These require the selection of one or more Y columns
or a single Z column in a regular Origin worksheet. |
