The Origin Family:

Drawing

Origin's Tools Toolbar provides you with the ability to create 9 different objects:

  1. arrows
  2. curved arrows
  3. lines
  4. rectangles (squares)
  5. ellipses (circles)
  6. polygons
  7. curved regions
  8. poly-lines (straight lines connected together)
  9. free-form lines
Origin's Tools toolbar has it all!

Each of these objects have four edit states: Select/Move/Resize, Rotate, Skew, and Point-by-Point edit. These objects improve the ability to annotate graphs and layout pages, allowing you to create freeform objects much as you would with a sophisticated drawing program. With Origin, there's no need to go to another program to finish creating your graphical presentation!

Object attributes can be changed using the new Style and Format toolbars. You can select multiple objects and apply a common format to those objects with the click of a button.

For instance, here you see how easy it is to change both rectangle border color and line color simultaneously using the Style Toolbar.

The new Style toolbar in Origin 7.0 allows one to change the attributes of one or more objects quickly and easily. This image shows how the border color of two rectangles and the line color of one line can be changed simultaneously using the Style Toolbar.
