Graph Builder lets you construct graphs interactively and see many dimensions in one graph. You get instantaneous feedback as you drag and drop, without waiting. Forget about switching between windows to make comparisons and explore your data.

You get a visual comparison across grouping levels – all in one plot composed of small multiple elements such as scatterplots, bar charts, box plots and histograms.

If the graph you’ve created isn’t exactly what you want, it takes just a couple of clicks and drags of your mouse to make another one or modify what you’ve got.

With this increased interactivity, it’s easier to get the visualization you want, and you’ll be able to quickly experiment with alternatives.

Choice Platform

With JMP 8, you can design studies that will ask respondents to make choices among sets of prospective product features. You’ll learn what features your customers want most and how much they are willing to pay for each additional feature.

You can find out which specific product features appeal to the most customers. And you’ll be able to identify market segments and the products that resonate with each. This means you can tailor your products and services to your customers’ needs.

Make products that last

For years, reliability analysis in JMP has been helping you understand how a product or system will perform under certain conditions and for a particular period of time. But in JMP 8, you’ll find new reliability platforms that add powerful new capabilities, thanks to the expert guidance of reliability guru William Q. Meeker of Iowa State University.

Using Fit Life by X, you can now analyze the effect of an acceleration factor – such as temperature, pressure or humidity – on the lifetime of products and parts under a rich set of assumptions.

Reliability

You can also examine distributional properties of lifetime events with the Life Distribution platform. And you can discover failure causes in a system and understand the effects of repair with the new Competing Causes platform.

The new platforms give you state-of-the-art interactive analysis of lifetime data, providing immediate, visual representation of product reliability.
